Dr. Jennifer Butterfoss Barton
Dr. Barton has been practicing orthodontics on the Peninsula since 2004. After earning her degrees, Dr. Barton completed her orthodontic residency at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. At this time, she also earned her certification in orthodontics and a Master in Oral Biology degree. Passionate about patient care and dental health, Dr. Barton is at her happiest when working with her amazing team and exploring both the mechanics and artistry of orthodontic care. Her favorite part of her job is having a positive impact on her patients’ lives and self-confidence by helping them improve their smiles. When she’s not in the office, Dr. Barton enjoys spending time with her husband, Dan, and their three wonderful children. Dr. Barton is a proud member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, the Tidewater Orthodontic Association and the Peninsula Dental Society.

- As the Scheduling Coordinator, she enjoys meeting and getting to know patients and their families
- With more than 23 years of dental experience, April loves to see smile transformations
- Outside of the office, April can be found spending time with her family and friends
- April loves to spend time on the water on her paddleboard
- She and her husband enjoy visiting the beach and traveling to the mountains
